We aim to make the best possible use of appointments so that patients can be seen as quickly and safely as possible. When appointments are missed without notice, this reduces availability for other patients who may need care.
A Did Not Attend (DNA) occurs when a patient does not attend an appointment and does not cancel in advance.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so the appointment can be offered to another patient. Appointments can be cancelled by contacting the practice directly.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur. If there is a genuine reason why you were unable to attend, please contact the practice so this can be considered.
Repeated missed appointments without notice may be reviewed by the practice. Continued non‑attendance can affect your access to appointments and, in rare cases, may result in your registration with the practice being reviewed, following a fair and transparent process.
If you are unsure about your appointment or need help cancelling, please contact the practice team.
